URAKAMI
Urakami is Nagasaki’s neibourhood on which the second atomic bomb fell, by mistake. Nowadays, the effects of this nuclear event still continue to radiate. In fact, the radioactivity, with its neverending life cycle, disrupts the chronological marks giving to the past events the means for a sad and permanent news. In a serie of images, 60 years after the events, Guillaume Herbaut points out the daily life of a destruction still in process.
